hung in the New Vestry Hall, that a pair of silver candelabra had
been presented to Mrs. Kitto and the Vicar had acceded to the
request. At the same meeting a letter was submitted from the
Vicar expressing his appreciation of the kindness shown to him on
this and many other occasions.
MR. WILLIAM CHALLICE.
On the 17th July, 1890, an illuminated and framed copy of a
resolution of the Vestry relative to Mr. Challice's service of the
office of Churchwarden, was presented to him, together with a
canteen containing a service of plate and cutlery, and a chest
containing a dessert service. A further presentation of a plated
spirit stand was made on the 14th August, 1890. His resignation
as a member of the Vestry was, on the 4th December, 1890, accepted
with expressions of great regret.
MR. J. ANDERSON ROSE, DECEASED.
The death of the above gentleman, who served the office of
Churchwarden in 1857, was reported on the 25th September, 1890,
and on that day a vote of condolence with Mrs. Rose was passed,
which was duly acknowledged by her.
