39 Licences (not including renewals) have been granted for
hoardings and scaffolds for the purpose of re-building, alterations,
&c. Licences have also been granted, in 15 cases, to open streets
to repair rain water pipes, and other similar purposes. The cost of*
making good these openings is charged to the persons taking out
the Licences.

These pavings have been made good by the Vestry since 17th
November last at thee expense of the companies, the total amount
receivable therefrom being £200 13s. 11d.
The sum of £105 18s. 7d. has also been received in respect of
the like work executed for private individuals.
