TREES-CHARING CROSS ROAD.
Fifty-seven trees were planted during the formation of the above
street by the Metropolitan Board of Works, at a cost to the Vestry
of £355 0s. 4d., including tree guards, gratings, &c. Eleven new
trees have been planted in the place of those which have died, at a
cost of £19 16s. 0d.
