SNOW REMOVAL The following statement shows the number of extra men, horses and carts, employed in clearing the streets after the heavy snowstorm which occurred on Sunday, the 10th February last.

PUBLIC URINALS.
On the 28th June last, I reported upon additional sites in the
Parish suitable for the erection of urinals, viz., Charing Cross Road
by St. Martin's Court, St. Martin's Place opposite the Provident
Bank, and Whitcomb Street opposite Princes Buildings, and on the
9th August an urinal was ordered to be erected on the first
mentioned site, Messrs. Doulton & Co.'s tender for the supply of the
Maine at £120 being accepted.

STREET WATERING.

This subject was considered at the same time as the Slop and Dust Collecting, resulting in the Vestry deciding to purchase the following1 plant:—

On the 4th October, 1888, I submitted specifications and drawings
for and underground urinal, &c., on the triangular refuge at the
southern end of Charing Cross Road, but the Vestry were not then
prepared to recommend their adoption.
