One New Sewer Ventilator has been fixed in the Strand.
One Adam's Patent Deodoriser has been fixed to the Sewer at
St. Martin's Street.
CONNECTIONS TO SEWERS.
Ten new connections of houses to the sewers, and four examinations
of the sewers have been made by the Vestry for parishioners
at their cost.
CLEANSING SEWERS AND GULLIES.
Prior to 25th December last the cleansing of the covered sewers
was performed by contract, at £25 per mile per annum on 3¾ miles,
and the gullies at 2s. 6d. per annum on 420. Since that date the
work has been undertaken by the Vestry.
The total cost of this work for the year has been £132 17s. 6d.
