LIMEWHITING COURTS.
The courts and alleys in the parish have been limewhited as
often as necessary at a cost of £33 16s. 4d.
VESTRY HALL.
During the adjournment of the Vestry in the autumn, the Vestry
Hall and Offices were cleansed and repaired throughout, and
dwarf iron gates fixed to entrance at a cost of £81 8s. Other
sundry repairs have been executed which, including supply of gas
and water, have cost £47 4s. 3d.
MORTUARY.
Galvanised zinc has been fixed under the roof of the Mortuary
under the Parish Churchyard, a wooden platform provided, and the
walls covered with matched boarding and painted throughout at
a cost of £35 13s. 6d.
STREET NAMES.
Street, name plates have been fixed in Charing Cross Road,
Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Street, at a cost of £4 0s. 8d.
REPAIRS TO SEWERS AND GULLIES.
On the 25th December last the Vestry, in common with other
works, took over the cleansing and repairs to sewers and gullies, a
sewerman at 30s. and a labourer at 20s. per week being permanently
employed.
The cost of repairing sewers and flushing boxes, and providing-
and repairing side entrance covers, amounted to the sum of
£62 1s. 3d.
The gullies at the undermentioned places have been repaired
or reconstructed at a cost of £64 8s. 10d.
