The quantity of water used and the cost thereof, including that used for road-making purposes, being as follows:—

There are 44 standposts on the Grand Junction
Water Company's mains, and 13 on the "West Middlesex
Water Company's mains, each standpost having a
water meter attached, the indices of which are taken
fortnightly throughout the watering season, which
commences on the 1st of March and continues until
the end of November.
