REPORT, 1890-91.
Orders of Vestry were made respecting the drainage
of the above-mentioned new buildings.
The construction of the drains from sewers to
inspection chambers in forecourts or areas of new
buildings, and from thence through the premises, have
been carried out under the supervision of the Officers
of the Surveyor's Department; the pipe-drains through
the houses being tested with water in order to ensure
a watertight condition.
