In the public institutions in the parish there were 135
deaths, viz., 10 in the Workhouse, 25 in the Paddington Infirmary,
6 in the Children's Hospital, 1 in the Lock Hospital, and 93
in St. Mary's Hospital.
The 10 deaths in the Workhouse —3 males and 7 females —
and the 25 deaths in the Paddington Infirmary—18 males and
7 females—being regarded as those of parishioners, are included
in the 315 deaths in St. Mary's Sub-district. 68 of the deaths
in St. Mary's Hospital were of non-parishioners, as were 3
of the deaths in the Children's Hospital, and are therefore not
dealt with in this Report.
In extra-parochial hospitals and institutions, within the
Metropolis, there were 20 deaths of parishioners, as under
Hospitals and Institutions.
