In the public institutions in the parish there were 107
deaths, viz., 24 in the Workhouse, 19 in the Paddington Infirmary,
18 in the Children's Hospital, and 46 in St. Mary's Hospital.
The 24 deaths in the Workhouse—15 males and 9 females—
and the 19 deaths in the Paddington Infirmary—8 males and
11 females—being regarded as those of parishioners, are included
in the 363 deaths in St. Mary's Sub-district. 39 of the deaths
in St. Mary's Hospital were of non-parishioners, as were also
13 of the deaths in the Children's Hospital, and are therefore
not dealt with in this report.
In extra - parochial hospitals and institutions, &c., within the Metropolis, there were 18 deaths of parishioners, as under: —
