The corrected number of deaths in the parish from all
causes during the corresponding quarters of the years 18771882
was as under:—

In the public institutions in the parish there were 76
deaths, viz., 29 in the Workhouse and 47 in St. Mary's
Hospital. There was no death in the Lock Hospital. The
29 deaths in the Workhouse,—13 males and 16 females,—
being regarded as those of parishioners, are included in the
246 deaths in St. Mary's sub-district. Of the 47 deaths in
St. Mary's Hospital, 38 were of non-parishioners, and are
therefore not dealt with in this report.
