The Board had under consideration a letter from the
London County Council on the subject of providing indicators
for fire alarms and escapes. The Council urged that
such indicators should be provided by the Vestries and District
Boards. The Board were of opinion that such proposal

the public lamps, which would remain at 2s. 6d. per 1000,
unless it was found absolutely necessary to further increase
the price beyond 2s. 9d., in which case the question of price

Company further stated that they hoped they would soon
again be enabled to resume the 1d. reductions to the general
consumers, but the parishes would not of course participate
