It is interesting to record that of the total births notified
1,189 patients were confined in municipal and general hospitals
and private nursing homes.
Deaths.
The deaths belonging to the Borough of Camberwell after
correction for inward and outward transfers numbered 3,491.
The death rate for 1929 is therefore 13.6 per thousand of the
population, as compared with 11.9 in 1928. The causes of death
classified in accordance with the particulars provided by the
Registrar-General are shown in the following table:—
