Zymotic Dentin Rate.
The principal zymotic diseases are smallpox, measles, scarlet
fever, dipththeria, whooping cough, enteric fever (including fever
not otherwise defined) and diarrhoea. The deaths from these
diseases during the year numbered 90, representing a mortality
rate of 0.35 per thousand of the population.
Cancer.
Cancer was responsible for 384 deaths in Camberwell in 1929.
Towards the close of the year I was requested by the Public
Health Committee to report on the subject of the formation of
Cancer Clinics in this Borough. In this report I stated that
