The following is a return of additional labour, &c., so
incurred, viz.:—
4,972 Days work ; extra men at 3s. per day.
287 Days work by hired horses at 10s. 6d. per day.
3,983 Total loads of snow carted by Vestry and
hired carts.
3,061 Loads of Ballast, Siftings, &c., were spread
on the roads during the prevalence of frosts.
The Committee were well satisfied with and confirmed
the action of the Surveyor and the Superintending Staff in
every particular, and which was also further approved by
the Vestry.

This work is carried out by the Vestry Staff, the Plant necessary for carrying out the same has averaged as follows:—
