Workmanship in the construction of these Works,
and also that all costs and charges incidental thereto
be borne by the Company. These, with the general
Clauses to be introduced by the Metropolitan Board
of Works, as well as those contained in the general
and special Acts relating to Tramways already
passed, will be sufficient to protect the Vestry's
interests on behalf of the Public.

It will possibly be suggested that other routes
(avoiding Rye Lane) might have been proposed, but
there being no alternative lines before the Public,
such suggestions cannot be entertained in this
Report.
