OUTWORKERS—1951.
Under Section 110 of the Factories Act, 1937, in the case of
persons employed in such classes of work as may be prescribed by
the Secretary of State, the occupier of every factory and every
contractor employed by any such occupier in the business of a
factory is required to keep lists giving full particulars of the names
and addresses of all outworkers employed by him, and to supply
twice a year (in February and August), copies of such lists for the
information of the Council. The following is a summary of the
information secured from these lists during the past year:—
