Street Trading.
All street traders trading from pitches approved by the Borough
Council are licensed by the Council, the general arrangements of
the "pitching" being supervised by the Street Inspectors employed
by the Borough Engineer's Department. Stallholders selling
foodstuffs, however, are also visited by the Food Inspectors of the
Public Health Department, both at the point of sale and place of
storage.
