The sale of wrapped (pre-packed) ice cream has made it possible,
under existing law, to register many of these premises, but it
might be considered desirable to restrict registration to premises
more easily adaptable to the amalgamation of types of trading
than some of those listed here.
Four tradesmen carrying on the business of fruiterer and
greengrocer have also been registered, under very special circumstances,
for the sale of wrapped ice cream. Written undertakings
have been received in each case stating that the assistants serving
ice cream will not handle the other produce sold in the shop.
The unsatisfactory conditions found at these premises are
classified hereunder
General structural defects.
Choked gullies.
Absence of ventilation.
Inadequate ventilation.
Insufficient heating.
