One, chronic bronchitis in a girl of 3. 6½ months' treatment,
She had no real attack of bronchitis after first beginning treatment,
and the mother now states that she can go out in all weathers without
ever getting wheezy, which she never could before.
One feature of the treatment of children for whatever cause
is that the mothers very frequently volunteer the information that the
child is "quite different since beginning treatment, so good-tempered
and sleeping so well."
Ante-natal Cases.—One, asthma, debility, nausea. Asthmatic
attack almost daily for 3½ months. She had 2½ months' treatment,
during which she had only one attack, and "feels quite different."
One, chonic bronchitis and asthma—"Feels that the treatment
has done her much good, and asks for a repetition after her baby is
born."
Whooping Cough.— Twenty-three cases. Marked improvement
in practically all cases. It appeared definitely to abort the disease,
making each bout of coughing much less severe, and fewer bouts in
the 24 hours. The mothers found very definite improvement, and the
effect on sleep at night through the child getting much less severe
coughing was most satisfactory.
