Infantile Mortality.— The deaths under 1 year of age in the
Borough during 1924 numbered 254. This is a decrease of 3
upon the number of infants' deaths recorded during 1923. The
infant mortality rate for the year is 60 per 1,000 births.
The causes of death are set out in the following table
