Bacteriological Examination of Other Substances
One sample of corned beef was sent to the bacteriologist for examination
and found to be satisfactory.
Meat
Supervisory duties in connection with meat in the district are limited
to those related to its storage and exposure for sale, since there are no
slaughterhouses in the area.
The quantity of meat seized or suspected as unfit for human consumption
during the year was 1,808 lbs. 6 ozs.
