Swimming Baths
The one swimming bath in the district at the Highfield Hall is owned
by the Council who acquired it from a private owner in 1953. The purification
plant subjects the water to continuous precipitation, filtration and
chlorination. Routine daily testing for free chlorine checks the effectiveness
of this apparatus.
