Ten samples were submitted for bacteriological examination. Two of
these taken on the same day in July indicated that the purification plant was
on that day being overloaded. The operation of the plant was suitably
adjusted and the schedule of testing times modified to cover more adequately
the expected periods of maximum user in the summer. Further
bacteriological tests taken subsequently were entirely satisfactory.
Offices
Twenty inspections of offices were made, but no action was called for.
