of the District Nurses at the Council's clinics.
Laboratory Facilities.—1 he Council has arrangements with
the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine, Chelsea Bridge Road,
S.W.I. and with Dr. Deas, The Laboratory, Nelson Hospital,
Merton, S.W. 19, for the examination of pathological material
in connection with infectious disease, tuberculosis and puerperal
pyrexia. These facilities are provided for the use of practitioners,
free of cost.

Samples of water, milk and food are sent to the County Analyst,
The County's Public Health Laboratories or the Laboratory of
the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. In special circumstances
use is also made of the facilities afforded at the Ministry
of Health Laboratory, Endell Street, W.C.2.

Ambulance Facilities.—Infectious Cases.—For the removal
of infectious cases to Isolation Hospital, ambulance facilities are
provided by the Cuddington Joint Hospital Board. No difficulty
has been encountered in securing the prompt removal of cases
admitted to hospital.
