Professional Nursing in the Home.
A branch of the Queen Victoria's Jubilee Nurses' Association
is established in Richmond, and two Nurses were employed during
the year. A great deal of very useful work is done by these
nurses. A grant of £75 is made by the Council to the Association,
and the nurses attend cases of Measles, Ophthalmia and other
diseases, especially of children.
During the year nurses have attended 117 cases,'and 1,041
visits have been paid. These cases have been notified by the
M.O.H. or private practitioners.
There are also nurses specially employed in Kew and
Petersham.
