The Dental Clinic is held seven times in a fortnight, and
although it is the Clinic which attracts least, still 1,104 children
were treated during the year.
T uberculosis.
The treatment for this disease is carried out by the County
Authorities. The Tuberculosis Officer (Dr. Cameron Renwick)
sees cases at the centre at Kingston, and the Richmond Council
pays the fares of patients who proceed to Kingston if they are
unable to do so themselves.
Cases of doubtful Tuberculosis in the schools are sent to the
County Tuberculosis Officer for an opinion, and generally there
is close co-operation between the Medical Officer of Health and
the Tuberculosis Officer.
Venereal Disease.
This also is carried out by the County. A centre for treatment
has been established at the Richmond Royal Hospital. The
County Medical Officer of Health has given me the following
figures. During the year 1925 :—
