The riding establishments in the area have been inspected and
Mr. H.E. Bywater reports as follows:-
"I have pleasure in submitting my report of the quarterly
inspections made at varying intervals during the year ending 31st

The conditions were generally fairly satisfactory and no
obvious contraventions of the Act were noted or were brought to
my attention.
During one quarter, the inspections were made by a locum
tenens, whilst I was visiting India to advise the Indian
Government's newly created Animal Welfare Board, and I requested
the R.S.P.C.A. to instruct its local inspector to keep the premises
under observation.
