HOUSING STATISTICS 1960.
1. REDEVELOPMENT.
The Council demolished 53 "prefabs" and commenced
redevelopment of these cleared sites with permanent dwellings.
2. NEW HOUSES.
309 new permanent houses were erected, rated and occupied
