(g) Hygiene in Catering Trades.
The report of the working party was brought to the attention
of all Council Departments engaged in catering and copies were
made available in the Public Libraries.
(h) Dogs in Food Shops.
The form of notice suggested by the Ministry of Health for
exhibition by food traders was adopted and copies of the notice
have been distributed to all food traders during the current year.
(i) Food Poisoning Outbreaks.
No "Outbreaks" occurred but ten sporadic single cases and
two family cases (two members each) were investigated.
DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACTS
Swine Fever Order, 1938.—No action necessary.
Regulation of Movement of Swine Order, 1950.—One licence
received respecting eighteen pigs and two issued regarding four
pigs.
Foot and Mouth Disease (Controlled Areas) Special Orders
Nos. 3 & 4, 1951.—Two licences countersigned regarding nine pigs.
Parasitic Mange Order, 1938.—No action necessary.
The following Orders were dealt with as necessary:—

Live Poultry (East Anglia) (Restrictions) Order, 1950.

and Hatching Eggs) Order, 1951.
Foot and Mouth Disease (Controlled Areas) Order
No. 11, 1951.
PREVENTION OF DAMAGE BY PESTS ACT, 1949
Our rodent repression scheme has continued on the lines
required by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Infestation
Control Division.
Two whole-time trained Operatives are engaged on work in
connection with private dwellings and business premises.
