COURSE OF LECTURES ON
PARENTHOOD AND MOTHERCRAFT.
A course of lectures was held at the Walthamstow Educational
Settlement (Friends' Hall), Greenleaf Road, Walthamstow, on
Thursdays at 3 p.m., between October and December, 1945.
The Course extended to 12 lectures arranged for the Settlement
in association with the National Association of Maternity and Child
Welfare Centres by the Walthamstow Public Health Department.
The lectures were given by:—
1. Dr. Leslie Housden.
2. Miss E. M. Howson, Midwife Teachers' Diploma,
S.R.N., S.C.M., Sister Tutor at Thorpe Coombe
Maternity Hospital.
3. Mrs. D. Androvenda, S.R.N., Matron—Handsworth
Avenue Day Nursery.
4. Miss A. C. Keenan, Health Visitor's Certificate, S.R.N.,
S.C.M., Superintendent Health Visitor.
