"In presenting the report, I would like first of all to express
my very sincere thanks to the Medical Officer of Health and his
staff, which includes the Health Visitors, for the many kindnesses
received and which makes our work so much easier.
' 'The Association has suffered from the general shortage of staff
but as usual the staff we had have most loyally co-operated and no
call has been neglected.
"The midwifery bookings for the coming year are already
very heavy.

"The number of cases for the year ending December, 31st 1945, are:—

will give us heart to make an extra effort in every way."
