Your Council decided to continue the grant to the Walthamstow
District Nursing Association, in return for which the Association
was, amongst other services, required to provide home nursing
facilities for cases of Pneumonia.
The local practice is for the District Sanitary Inspector to visit
on receipt of a notification and to make the necessary enquiries,
and opportunity is taken to deal with any obvious defects in sanitation
which may be found. Otherwise there is little gained by
notification.
