Foot and Mouth Disease (Infected Areas) Special Order
No. 1 of 1945.—One licence was issued for the movement of a pig
for slaughter.
RATS AND MICE DESTRUCTION ACT, 1919.
AND INFESTATION ORDER, 1943.
Much work is still carried out under these headings. Preliminary
investigations are made by the Sanitary Inspectors and
operative treatment carried out by the Council's trained Rat Catchers
under supervision.
Pre-baiting and Poison baiting has been carried out with much
Success.
