The Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1922
(Section 4):—
Fine. Costs.
Information against employee for adding
water to Milk with the intent that it would
be sold as Milk 50s. 6s.
The Public Health Acts, 1875 (Section 112) and
1925 (Section 44), and the Byelaws, 1913:—
Information against a Fish Curer for establishing
the trade of a Fish Curer without
the sanction of the Council 20s. —
The Petroleum Consolidation Act, 1928:—
Information against Garage Proprietor for
Storing Petroleum Spirit without a Licence
from the Council £5 £2 7s. Od.
THE RENT AND MORTGAGE RESTRICTIONS ACTS,
1920-1923.
During the year 16 certificates were granted to tenants and
7 certificates have been issued to owners upon completion of the
scheduled works.
In all cases work which can be enforced by the Housing Acts
has been carried out, but the Rent Acts permit of requirements in
excess of those which can be demanded under the Housing Acts and
which cannot be enforced under them. If owners do not comply
fully with requirements specified on the certificate granted to the
tenants, no clearance certificates are issued.
DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACTS, 1894-1928.
Great Britain (Foot and Mouth Disease) Regulation of
Movement Order, 1931.—The Minister of Agriculture and
Fisheries issued the above Order in June, and as a result the
following animals were allowed into the Borough under Licence as
follows:—
Sheep and Lambs 430
Cattle 112
Pigs 128
Total 670
All the above Licences were issued by your Inspector under
the above Acts.
Twenty-one milch cows were admitted under an Occupation
Licence under this Order.
