NOTE. - In addition to the above, it was necessary during the year under
review for cars to be hired from a private hire firm in the
district on 41 occasions involving 48 patients, and from the
Corporation's Transport Department, on 115 occasions Involving
151 patients.
The Council have no arrangements with the Hospital Car Service.
Mutual assistance arrangements existed throughout the year
between the Authority and the L.C.C., West Ham and the Essex C.C., and
particulars are as follows:-
