Administration of Analgesics.
(a) Number of midwives in practice in the area qualified to
administer Analgesics in accordance with the requirements of the
Central Midwives' Board :—
(i) Domiciliary Nil
(ii) In institutions 1
(b) Are facilities provided to enable midwives practising in
the area to attend courses of intruction in the administration of
Analgesics in institutions approved by the Central Midwives'
Board for the purpose?
Facilities will be provided when available.
(c) Is apparatus for the administration of Anaglesics
supplied to domiciliary midwives by the Council?
Apparatus purchased.
(d) In how many cases were Anaglesics administrated by
midwives in domiciliary practice during the year?
None.
Inspection of Midwives.
Visits of inspection, as necessary, were paid during the year
and the midwives' work, including records, was satisfactory.
