Diphtheria Immunisation Clinics.
During the year 1938, 559 infants and children have been
completely immunised.
The total number of inoculations performed has been 1,614, of
which 512 were carried out at the Town Hall Clinic, 1,025 at the
Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics, 62 at the Infectious Diseases
Hospital, and 15 by Private Practitioners.
The following figures are intended to indicate the number
inoculated and the age groups involved in the cases treated .
Town Hall Clinic.
Total number of inoculations 512
Number inoculated three times 164
Number inoculated twice 3
Number inoculated once 2
In addition to the above, three children were inoculated four
times.
Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics.
Total number of inoculations 1025
Number inoculated three times 307
Number inoculated twice 11
Number inoculated once 11
In addition five children received five inoculations, ten
children four inoculations and one child six inoculations.
Infectious Diseases Hospital.
Total number of inoculations 62
Number inoculated once with A.P.T. 62
Private Practitioners.
In addition to the above, during the same period 1 child was
inoculated three times by a private practitioner, and six children
twice.
