In addition to the cases in the Table, 15 cases of typhus were admitted, 10 from St. Olave, Southwark ; 2 each from Hackney and
Greenwich; and one from St. Saviour, Southwark; 59 cases of "other diseases" were admitted through error in diagnosis. At
the close of the year there were remaining 1936 cases, viz.: scarlet fever 1613, diphtheria 158, enteric fever 157, typhus 1, and
"other diseases" 7.
