Dairies, Cowsheds and Milkshops Order, 1885. On the 3rd
September, 1924, a retailer was summoned at the Woolwich
Police Court for selling milk without being registered as a
purveyor. He was convicted and fined £2.
Public Health (Milk and Cream) Regulations, 1912-1917.
During the year 240 samples of milk and four samples of cream
were purchased and submitted to the Public Analyst. None
of the milk samples shewed any preservative. Three samples
of cream contained preservative but none exceeded the
amount allowed by the Regulations. In tabular form, as
required by the Ministry, are set out below the details of this
work:—
