London County Council Bye-laws.
A large number of new buildings have been erected and
alterations to existing buildings carried out in the Parish during
the year, and in many instances we have had to call the builders'
attention to infringements of the above Bye-laws. In two cases
the Public Health Committee considered it necessary to take
proceedings, but these were stayed on the Bye-laws being complied
with and on payment of costs.
Various alterations to sanitary fittings were carried out (without
notice having been given to the Vestry), and upon proceedings
being threatened by the Public Health Committee, apologies
were tendered by the offenders, which, with an undertaking not
to repeat the offence, were accepted.
