year.
The number of births occurring in St. Leonard's Hospital was 371:
192 males and 179 females. In 32 of these the parents were not Shoreditch
residents.
MARRIAGES.
The number of marriages during the year was 848, and the persons
married were at the rate of 17.70 per 1,000 population. The marriage rate
for the Metropolis was 18.02.
