Institutional and Convalescent Treatment.
We are still dependent upon the good offices of
voluntary associations in cases where mothers, and ailing
children under five years of age, need convalescent
treatment. Although we are never denied this assistance
there are many cases of mothers and babies coming under
our notice who would materially benefit by convalescent
treatment, but we perforce confine ourselves to seeking
assistance in only the most urgent cases in the financial
interests of the voluntary bodies.
