TUBERCULOSIS VACCINES CLINICAL TRIAL
This scheme was reported on fully in 1958- The Medical Research Council continued
'follow up' examinations in 1959 assisted by members of the Health Visiting and Nursing
Staff. Of the 218 young people invited for their sixth annual X-ray, 126 attended, i.e.
58%, and of these 50% completed the skin tests. In addition, of the 93 who defaulted on
the previous occasion 32 attended this time.
It is expected that i960 will see the completion of this trial.
