The new corrugated iron building foreshadowed in last year's

Nurses, was completed in the summer, and was opened by the
Chairman of the Hospital Sub-Committee. It is a comfortable,
cheerful room, tastefully furnished, and has been much appreciated.
The small portion at the east end of the building has been
adapted as an office for the Matron— a much-needed improvement.
A new electric bell has been fitted at the entrance gate, and
by means of a switch is available either in the Porter's lodge or in
the Disinfecting buildings.
