There were admitted 271 Scarlet Fever and 127 Diphtheria
cases.
The total number of patients' days in hospital was 17,197.
The total amount expended on the Hospital was ,£3,190
15s. 9d., which gives an average cost of 3s. 8.5d. per patient per
diem.
The amount expended on provisions was £893 3s. 0d., which
includes the cost of food for the Staff. This gives a daily average
of 1s. 0.4d. per patient.
