It will be noted that no deaths occurred from Scarlet and
Enteric Fevers, while only 11 deaths occurred from Diphtheria.
ZYMOTIC DEATH.RATE.
The deaths which occurred during the year from the seven
principal Zymotic diseases were distributed among those diseases
as follows:—Measles, 31; Scarlet Fever, 0; Diphtheria, 11;
Whooping Cough, 18; Enteric Fever, 0; Diarrhoea and Enteritis
under two years of age, 44.
In 1906 our Zymotic death.rate was 2.3 per 1,000 of the population.
