The Zymotic death.rate for London was 1.42.
The Registrar.General has ceased to calculate the Zymotic
death.rate as a whole, but he gives the rate for each disease
separately. I am therefore unable to compare our Zymotic death.
rate with those of England and Wales, and the 96 Great Towns.

SMALL.POX.
One notification of this disease was received during the year,
but the case proved to be one of Chicken.pox. As pointed out in
last year.s Annual Report our agreement with the Metropolitan
Asylums Board terminated in March, and since that time we have
been without any Hospital accommodation for cases of this
disease.
