BAKEHOUSES.
There are 46 Bakehouses in the district. These have been
frequently visited during the year, and found on the whole to be
kept in a satisfactory condition; where necessary notices have
been served as regards uncleanly or other insanitary conditions.
SLAUGHTER-HOUSES.
There are 18 Slaughter-houses in the district being two less
than last year one of which was closed by order of the Magistrates
owing to having diseased meat on the premises and the other
the renewal of the licence was refused on the recommendation
of the Medical Officer of Health.
These are periodically visited every week and at any time
