In the Annual Report for the year 1936 a table was printed
showing the ages in groups and the marital condition of the population
of the District as ascertained at the 1931 Census.
The number of children in the District under 14 years of age
was found to be 260 per 1,000 total population and the corresponding
figure for the whole of the Administrative County was 228 per 1,000.
